The history of our company is linked to a traditional Italian family.
It begins in 1987 at Bedizzole (BS) in the heart of the Brescia rural countryside.
The greatest adventures always begin with a courageous action, be it in big or little forms. Ours was primarily a sign of confidence in the new food technologies, and especially in state-of-the-art food deep-freezing techniques.
Over the course of a decade, Alcass would become a true deep-freezing specialist and a pioneer in the sector, thanks to significant innovations.
In 2005, our top management’s firm resolve resulted in the creation of the brand “Amica Natura”, which soon made its way through the most important food distribution chains in Italy and abroad, as well as through the collective restoration, catering, and food-service domains.
Down the years our factories have expanded, manufacturing has become more efficient, sustainable, traceable and transparent. Our R&D laboratory experts study new food formulations in order to ensure innovative and impeccable quality products.

IFS (International Food Standard) is the certification recognized at European and global level.
It fosters the effective selection of branded food suppliers for large-scale distribution and retail chains, assessing them based on their capability to provide safe food products complying with food regulatory requirements.
In 2018, Alcass SpA was granted the OK Circle-K certification for Kosher food manufacturing.
The OK-Circle K Kosher certification is one of the best-known standards worldwide. Since 1935 OK Kosher has been renowned for its unique approach to certification for Kosher foods and for its attention to technology and innovation within a steadily evolving field. A Kosher commodity is a superior quality one, meticulously controlled during any cycle.
Alcass SpA and the brand Amica Natura have been showing-off the BioAgricert certification for years. BioAgricert is the control body for the manufacturing and packaging of biological foodstuffs. Organic farming follows the rhythms of nature and ensures a high level of respect for the land, the animal welfare, the agricultural ecosystem meanwhile prohibiting the use of synthetic products and genetically modified organisms (GMO).
